Arborist Reports
Wondering if you need a professional arborist report? below is a list of reasons you may require a professional tree inspection.
- Annual tree inspection program: used by investors and kept on a database
- Arborcultural impact report: Necessary for developers when applying to the Banyule council for Development approval
- Mortguage or Insurance quotation: Used by homeowner applying for or updating insurance policies
- Tree preservation order: If you are a homeowner you may have received one of these from the Banyule council
Why Would You Need a Arborist Report?
An Arborist Report is often required when you’re planning construction, applying for a council permit, dealing with a protected tree, or assessing potential safety risks. These reports provide a professional evaluation of the tree’s health, structure, and long-term viability. Whether you’re concerned about a declining tree, need documentation for insurance, or must meet local regulations, an Arborist Report gives you clear guidance and helps you make safe, compliant decisions.

Our Feedback
could not fault these guys. Prompt service, removed a dead gum and a few other crappy trees, cleaned up properly, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended
I had a wattle trimmed hanging over from neighbours. Ben and Jush provided Great service. Very efficient. Cleaned up afterwards I would thoroughly recommend them.
Fantastic job by Ben and the team. Job was completed as expected and left the site nice and clean. Third time I have used Bens service and wont be the last. Cheers
Very pleased in using Simpson's, they were skilful and quick to remove my 4 trees and reasonably priced.
23 cypress trees 15 metres tall and in danger of falling (as one already had broken off above 5 metres) between two properties had to be removed as one property was due to be sold. Bids to do the work were received from contractors known to each of the owners and Simpson Tree Service who had done work on the property before was the low bid and could do the work immediately. 4 men for 2 days and 3 men for one day cut down the trees by climbing and lowering branches and the trunks. A wood chipper produced 4 loads of 10 cubic metres as the trees were cut down to 4 metre stumps to prevent any future growth. At the end of each day the workplace was cleaned up of sawdust and cuttings. The work site safety procedures were evident each day and the team work was outstanding. A GREAT JOB WELL DONE BY BEN AND THE TEAM AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND Simpson Tree Service for similar work.
